  After doing our due diligence on several prospective realtors in preparation for putting our home in Odenton, MD on the market, we invited Betsy Albert to meet with us. At our meeting, Betsy provided us with a comprehensive binder of materials that covered the full panoply of information and data to market our home. After meeting with Betsy for approximately two hours, we were convinced she was the right person to retain. Betsy’s marketing savvy was brilliant and made even more critical since we were putting our home on the market during the Covid-19 pandemic when open houses were prohibited in the state. Betsy’s sound guidance and expertise contributed immeasurably to preparing and staging our home for both virtual and physical showings with appropriate safeguards during this time. Once our listing was active, we received three competing offers within seven days. After Betsy advised these prospective buyers to submit their best and final offers by a certain time, we had ratified a sales contract by day eight. Notable is that our sales price (and the price at which it sold) was the highest of all sales in the Chapel Grove community in the past 10 years. Betsy worked diligently and closely with us throughout the entire process – through inspection and appraisal stages, the closing, the brief rent back and the final walk through. During the entire process, Betsy proved to be the quintessential professional; she was sharp, knew the market like the back of her hand, was responsive and flexible, displayed meticulous attention to detail, and showed the utmost courtesy and respect to all parties.   My Townhouse Sold Within a Week at the Listed Price! From day one, Betsy took time to help me work though what needed to be done to make sure my townhouse was in the best condition for a quick and well-priced sale. She brought information on what had sold and what was listed, she had referrals for workers to paint, re-carpet and clean, and when I was able to find some resources, she added them to her list for any future work in the area. Plus, Betsy kept me up to date on what was listed and selling in my area that was comparable to my townhouse, so when the time came to get my townhouse on the market, the listing price was within the market prices in the area. Betsy gave me great feedback on what to do with my townhouse. Then, when I had gotten the needed repairs and refresh done, she brought in stagers and a photographer. Betsy actually helped with the staging, too, and worked with the photographer to make sure every picture was from the very best possible angle. At the end of the process, my townhouse sold within a week at the listed price. Betsy was great at giving me guidance on resolving things identified in the inspections and was the perfect go-between with the buyers and their agent. The closing was incredibly smooth, and Betsy worked with the realtor at my new home to make sure everything transferred between the two title companies. Through the entire process, Betsy was always available for any questions or concerns that I had. She was hands-on and always on top of things.   From the time I decided to move to Maryland from Vermont, Betsy Albert established immediate phone and e-mail contact with me.
